Advice on use of condoms and how to address
the topic with one's sexual partner.
Clark, D. (1988). The new loving someone
gay. New American Library.
Mostly for gay men, although some lesbian
material. For gays, it gives advice on coming out; for non-gays (including
teachers, counselors, family, friends), it gives advice on dealing with
their feelings, fears, prejudices. Excellent gift for gay or non-gay alike.

for professionals and clients.
McCarthy, B. (1988). Male sexual awareness.
Carroll and Graff.
An excellent text for adult males and
counselors. Not specifically written to address "gay issues," the text
provides excellent information regarding healthy sexuality and the chapter
entitled "'Within the Normal Range'--Understanding Male Homo-sexuality"
is well written. Also, an excellent chapter on how to find a therapist.
