The following list is a selected annotated list of recent sources dealing with gay, lesbian, and bisexual issues considered by the Committee and other counselors responding to the call for resources to be the best currently available. It is not meant to be a comprehensive list. Resources were reviewed according to three criteria: what the source covers, how good is it, and how it should be used. Sources preceded by an * are part of many counselors' libraries but were not reviewed. They are included because they provide information in areas relevant to clients working with a gay, lesbian, and bisexual population. Sources preceded by ** were reviewed by Haworth Press in the 1990 Publications on Gay and Lesbian Issues: Reviews of Books, permission to reproduce granted by Haworth Press, Inc.
