ALGBTIC is a national organization of gay, lesbian, bisexual, and heterosexual professionals working to education mental health service providers about issues confronting sexual minority clients and their counselors. It strives to create a counseling profession that competently serves all clients regardless of their sexual orientation, one in which all counselors are supported to practice to their full ability, free from fear and discrimination.
