We are pleased to announce that Catherine Roland, the ACA President-Elect will be opening up the conference and sharing her plans for her 2016-2017 Presidential year.  Additionally, Mark Pope, past ACA President, will be our featured keynote at the luncheon on Saturday, which is included with your registration.  We are ready to start celebrating in September as we head toward our 20th birthday as a division of the American Counseling Association in 2017.  The theme of our conference is "Empowering Through Unity" and we have many exciting educational sessions.  We are also planning on a drag show on the Friday evening as a fundraiser for a local LGBTQ+ agency.  We hope you will all join us for the fun and celebration.

The Association for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender Issues in Counseling (ALGBTIC) invites you to our 2nd annual conference in San Antonio, TX.  

We expect to have a great time connecting, teaching, and providing opportunities to increase knowledge, awareness, and skills for members in our counseling professional and the community.

We are truly excited about our conference!! It kicks off in two days and we can't wait to see each of you. Also remember that Friday night we have the spectacular Drag Show hosted by Kay Sedia to raise money for the Thrive Youth Center Inc. of San Antonio. Tickets are 25.00 and the show is from 8:30-10:30 in the Contessa Ballroom. There is more information in your program book. Tickets will be made available for purchase on Eventbrite.
